KVPY 2018 - The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national level programme of Fellowship in Basic Sciences conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. KVPY result for the aptitude test which was conducted on November 4 . Along with the result, IISc Bangalore has also declared KVPY cutoff 2018. The answer key of KVPY 208 along with the question papers was released online on November. Candidates who have qualified the aptitude test have to appear for the interview which will be held in January. Based on the performance of candidates in KVPY aptitude test and interview, IISc will award the fellowship. However, candidates have to fulfil the KVPY eligibility criteria 2018 defined for each stream to get enrolled in the fellowship. The selected KVPY 2018 candidates will be provided with generous fellowship and contingency grant till the pre PhD level. The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) fellowship programme which is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India was started in 1999. The main aim of the KVPY fellowship is to encourage talented students who are studying Basic Sciences to take up research careers in Sciences. Apart from awarding the generous fellowship, it also organizes summer camps for the KVPY candidates in prestigious research and educational institutions in the country.
